About Me

HeadshotNewRenI believe people have an innate capacity to learn and grow.

The counseling environment is a place for you to safely explore the richness of your inner life while addressing what stands in the way of finding happiness and satisfaction.

I believe that all people are inherently whole and can come to rely on their own wisdom. As someone who has trusted intuition for many years, I know that finding the right guidance at the right time will bring about great leaps in understanding, effectiveness, and fulfillment.

I delight in helping people connect to the richness of their inner lives.

I like helping you  overcome the blocks that lie in the way of you making your own unique contribution. I am drawn to the yearning you feel to express who you truly are, as a young adult, during times of transition, at mid-life and beyond. Offering Counseling and SoulCollage® allows me to support your unique process of self-discovery. It’s an exciting journey, and I am honored to be part of it.

About my training and experience

My MA in Counseling Psychology is from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and my BA in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology is from the University of Missouri-Columbia. My experience as a parent and my background in the high-tech corporate world give me additional insight to help you balance work and life, meaningful contribution and self-care.

I rely on more than twenty years of Vipassana and other forms of meditation to help me remember that we are embodied, aware beings anchored by our breath.
